Gro\u00df-Gerau, 13 August 2025<\/strong>. Kreisklinik Gro\u00df-Gerau is celebrating its 60th anniversary on 5 and 6 September 2025. The programme includes an evening celebration with live music and an \u2018open day\u2019 with various hands-on activities.
\nEmployees from nursing, the medical profession and functional services receive visitors for experiments and other interactive stations as well as exclusive insights behind the clinic scenes. In particular, the Kreisklinik would like to make departments, areas and premises accessible that are not open to patients, visitors and guests in everyday hospital life. In addition, external partners of the Kreisklinik will also be actions and information stands on site, such as the Gross-Gerau volunteer fire brigade, the German Red Cross (DRK) and the DRF Luftrettung.
\n\u201cA look at the history of the clinic shows how the Gro\u00df-Gerau care site has evolved with the needs of the people and under various external changes. We are happy to celebrate the house and the work of the people and teams who have worked there over the years \u2013 together with our patients, colleagues and people from the region\", says District Hospital Managing Director Prof. Erika Raab.
\nDistrict Administrator Thomas Will says: \"We are proud and grateful for our district hospital here in Gro\u00df-Gerau, which has been providing medical care to citizens for 60 years now. The anniversary celebrates the House\u2019s existence and its important role in regional services of general interest.\u201d
\nOn both days there are food and drink stalls including a cocktail bar. For children, the district hospital sets up a bouncy castle and offers make-up for children. Admission is free.

\nAbout Kreisklinik Gro\u00df-Gerau GmbH:<\/strong>
\nKreisklinik Gro\u00df-Gerau GmbH is a municipal company under public ownership. The district of Gro\u00df-Gerau is the sole shareholder. As a basic provider, Kreisklinik Gro\u00df-Gerau GmbH takes care of the basic medical needs of the district population. The clinic has around 360 employees and treats approximately 7,300 patients inpatiently and approximately 14,000 patients on an outpatient basis every year. As a model clinic, the company is in the process of implementing a nationwide first intersectoral care center.
